This is a 100% pure tin paperweight that recreates Tokugawa Ieyasu's armor, the "Kindami Gusoku."
With the cooperation of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine in Shizuoka City, where Tokugawa Ieyasu is enshrined, a prototype of the "Kindami Gusoku," a national important cultural property, was created and carefully cast by skilled craftsmen. Furthermore, the surface employs the same technique used on the actual "Kindami Gusoku." This product is available in two types: "Enzuke Kinpaku" (gold leaf) or "Gold Plating."
Additionally, from the perspective of cultural property protection, 30% of the sales from this product will be donated to Kunozan Toshogu Shrine.

錫（すず）とはどんな素材ですか？
古くからわたしたちの生活になじんできた錫（すず）は、白銀色の上品な光沢が魅力の金属です。
大きなメリットは錆びにくいこと。
毒性もなく、主に食器や酒器として幅広く利用されています。錫のイオン効果や熱伝導率の高さも特徴で、注いだお茶やビール・日本酒などの雑味を抑え味をまろやかに、そして、冷たい飲みものを冷たいままに楽しむことができるといわれています。また、水を腐りにくくする性質から、花を長持ちさせるために花瓶として楽しむ方も。一方、熱がすぐ伝わるため、温かい飲みものには不向きとなります。
お手入れ方法を教えてください。
＜基本のお手入れ方法＞
●使用後はすぐ洗うのがおすすめ。飲みものなど中身を放置すると、変色の原因に。中性洗剤とやわらかいスポンジで洗うのが大切です。
● 洗った後はしっかりと水分を拭き取りましょう。水分が残ると、くもりや変色の原因に。やわらかい布で拭き取るようにしてください。
＜におい・味移りが気になったら＞
ぬるま湯に少量の重曹を溶かし、短時間つけ置きしてください。その後、いつも通り洗って、しっかり乾燥させましょう。
＜くもり・黒ずみが出てきたら＞
経年変化が錫の魅力。どうしても気になる場合は、重曹と水でペーストをつくり、傷をつけないよう、こすらずやさしく磨きます。
※金属用研磨剤は使用不可
電子レンジ・食洗機は使えますか？
錫は金属のため、電子レンジの使用はできません。また、やわらかい素材のため、食洗機の使用もおすすめしておりません。高温乾燥によって風合いが変わったり、強い水流や他食器との接触によって、傷や変形の原因となったりする恐れがあります。
